テクノ、音響マナーの新世紀型ヒップホップを提唱し音楽/非音楽の境界をブチ壊す唯一無二のボーダレスサウンドを構築するspeedometer./イルリメによるユニット。
様々なビートの断片を巧みにカットアップし、メロウかつアブストラクトなトラックで独自の世界観を提示しつづける大阪藤井寺在住の鬼才、speedometer.と
突き抜けた感性と文学的なリリックで現在進行形の『今』を疾走する、POPな詩人/ラッパー、モユニジュモ(イルリメ)により2004年正式発足。
二者の交流は2002年冬頃から始まり、地元のサッカーチーム-ガンバ大阪-の公式コンピレーションアルバム
『Over the top-大阪頂上作戦』(2003 buxom)で初共演。 その後speedometer.のアルバム『Themo』(2003
felicity)、前述ガンバ大阪の第２弾コンピレーション 『Unresting Weekend-休まない週末』(2004
buxom)などで共演、 互いのライブへの参加など水面下での交流を機に2004年二者が改めてspdillとして結託。
関西音楽最前線のアーティスト勢をゲストに迎えた衝撃のファーストアルバム 『how to feel
the emptyhours?』(2004 de-fragment)を発表。
Profile: Spdill
Advancing techno and new millennium style hip hop
and destroying the border
between the musical and the unmusical, is the one
and only Spdill, a
collaboration between Speedometer and Illreme, creators
of borderless sound.
Skillfully cutting up various beat fragments, Speedometer
is a genius from
the Fujiidera area of Osaka who continues to produce
a mellow and abstract
original world view, and penetrated with sensibility
and literary lyrics,
tearing along with the present progressive “now”,
we have the pop poet and
rapper, Moyunijumo (Illreme). These two officially
launched Spdill in 2004.
The two musicians first came into contact around
the winter of 2002, when
they appeared together on the local soccer team
Gamba Osaka’s official
compilation album, “Over the Top - Osaka Chojo Sakusen”
(2003, Buxom).
Following that they also collaborated on Speedometer’s
album “Thermo”
(2003, Felicity), and on Osaka Gamba’s second compilation
album,
“Unresting Weekend - Yasumanai Shumatsu” (2004,
Buxom). They often
appeared at each other’s live concerts, using these
behind the scenes
exchanges as an opportunity, and by 2004 they were
already conspiring
together as Spdill. With many of Kansai’s most prominent
artists appearing
as guests, their first album, “How to Feel the Emptyhours?”
(2004
de-fragment) had enormous impact.

大阪・藤井寺市在住の高山純によるユニット。'97年に田中フミヤが主催するUNTITLED
RECORDSより1stアルバ「SPEEDOMETER」をリリース。 以来'04年までに5枚のアルバムと2枚のミニアルバムをリリースしている。AIR、SILVA、MIHO、SOUL
SCREAMなどのリミックス・ワークも多数こなし、 STEREOLABやJIMI TENOR来日時のオープニングアクトとして激賞されるなど、国内外から高い評価を得ている。

Speedometer
This group is lead by Jun Takayama, a resident of
Fujiidera, Osaka. In ’97
they released their debut album “Speedometer” under
Fumiya Tanaka’s
Untitled Records label. They then released 5 albums
and 2 mini albums
between ’97 and ’04. They also created a large number
of remixes, for
example Air, Silva, Miho, and Soul Scream, have
received high praise for
their opening acts for Stereo Lab and Jimi Tenor
in Japan, and are highly
acclaimed both in Japan and overseas. |

大阪・高槻市出身のラッパー＝“モユニジュモ”のソロプロジェクト。'00年にデビューミニアルバム「イるreメ短編座」を発表し、
他に類を見ないラップミュージックとしてヒップホップ・フリークのみならずあらゆるジャンルの愛好者から賞賛を浴びる。
以来'04年までに3枚の作品を発表。「QUICK JAPAN」や「STUDIO VOICE」などの雑誌で特集が組まれるなど、今最もその言動に注目が集まるラッパーである。
04年、待望のソロアルバム「illreme.com」を発表、
05年からはCS放送スペースシャワーTVの「STUDIO GROWN」月曜日MCを務める。

Illreme
This is the Takatuski-city Osaka rapper Moyunijumo’s
solo project. In ‘00
he released the mini-album “Illreme Tanpenza”,
receiving praise not only
from hip hop freaks, but from lovers of all different
genres of music. He
then went on to release 3 more albums by ’04.
Magazines such as “Quick
Japan” and “Studio Voice” have carried feature
articles on him, and he is
currently one of the most sought after rappers
on the scene. In ’04, he
released his long awaited solo album “illreme.com”,
and since ’05 he has
been appearing every Monday as an MC on the Space
shower TV program “Studio
Grown”.
