UK在住の日本人。本名シゲ。現在ヨーロッパを中心に活動。NINTENDOの家庭用ゲーム端末「GAMEBOY」を使用し叫び踊る衝撃的なGIG/パフォーマンスで
ヨーロッパ全域では既にポップスターに成りつつある、ガバ〜ブレイクコア〜チップチューンを演奏する次々世代のテクノアーティスト。
ヨーロッパではブレイクコアのアーティストを多数輩出しているADAADAT/wong musicから2枚のアルバムと7インチ、10インチのアナログシングルを
各1枚づつリリースしている。ATARI TEENAGE RIOT/ALEC EMPIREとのヨーロッパツアーで頭角を現わし、その後μ-ziq/APHEX TWIN/Bong-ra./VENETIAN SNEAS等、
ブレイクコアや異端テクノ系のビッグネームとと多数共演、UKでは2ndALBUMリリース時に英国ラジオ局BBCが彼の特別番組を放送する等、 ほぼ毎日行われるGIGでヨーロッパ全土を席巻し、注目の的となっている。また次作より全米での音源配給をLIGHTNING BOLTのリリースで知られる LOAD RECORDSが行う事になり、その勢いはアメリカにも飛び火する事は必至。本年5月にはマンチェスターの「FUTURE SONIC FESTIVAL」にも出演。
6月にはロンドンで行われるelectronic musicの祭典「GLADE FESTIVAL」と70年代から続く老舗巨大フェス「Glastonbury festival」に出演が決定しており、 2007-2008年のスコッチエッグから目が離せない状況になっている。2007年8月に来日し全国縦断ツアー予定。

DJ Scotch Egg is Japanese of the UK living. The real name is Shige. They are acting around Europe now. It shouts by using domestic game terminal unit "GAMEBOY" of NINTENDO and impact GIG and the performance of man who dances have already been becoming pop stars in a European whole area. He is generation's techno artist one after another who performs Gaba, Breakcore, and Tipptune.

He releases two albums and seven inches from ADAADAT/wong music that appears one after another a lot of artists of Breakcore in Europe, and other they has released one analogue single of ten inches. He shows his top of a head by the Europe tour with ATARI TEENAGE RIOT/ALEC EMPIRE. The musician and a lot of co-starring ..Big name of techno system such as μ-ziq/APHEX TWIN/Bong-ra./VENETIAN SNEAS afterwards that Breakcore and goes mad.. are accomplished. When 2nd ALBUM is released with UK, British radio station BBC is broadcasting his special program to other them. He carries everything before one European whole land, and is attracting the attention by GIG done on the nearly every day. Moreover, LOAD RECORDS known by releasing LIGHTNING BOLT will bear the sound source distribution all over the U.S. from the next work, and the thing of the power that leaps to the United States is inevitable.

He is performing to "FUTURE SONIC FESTIVAL"of Manchester in May this year. And, appearance to shop of old standing huge Fez "Glastonbury festival" that continues since festival "GLADE FESTIVAL" of electronic music done in London and 70's is decided in June, and the situation that cannot take one's eyes off the Scotch egg from 2007 to 2008.
